Leading distribution giant Bunzl Asia Pacific awards significant contract to Wevo to deploy Managed SD-WAN & SASE Security

Specialist Managed Telecommunications Provider Wevo has been selected by distribution giant Bunzl Asia Pacific to deliver Managed SD-WAN & SASE Security for its Australian and New Zealand network, consisting of 42 locations.
Built with class-leading vendors including VMware SD-WAN™ coupled with Palo Alto Networks Prisma Access SASE security, the solution leverages Equinix Network Edge to instantly deploy virtualised network functions to interconnect cloud, content and data center resources across all Bunzl Australia & New Zealand sites.
Wevo’s Director of Sales and Finance Edwin Allen said the partnership is part of the Managed Communications Service Provider’s (MCSP) plan to position itself as a technology partner of choice for Enterprise businesses in the region.

Being a specialist in 4G/5G solutions and completely carrier agnostic, Wevo selected diverse carriers and access technologies to provide maximum availability, increased bandwidth per site and future-proofing with Cradlepoint 5G adaptors, managed through the Cradlepoint Netcloud platform.
The solution will encompass all of Bunzl’s brands operating in Australia and New Zealand including Bunzl Australia & New Zealand (BANZ), Bunzl Safety, Fire Rescue Safety Australia and New Zealand (FRSA & NZ), Atlas McNeil Healthcare, Interpath Services, Medshop and Obex Medical.
