The business has been evolving rapidly and it was decided to migrate the existing telephony services to a Cloud based Voice platform that will enhance and improve the way Cable communicates internally, externally and with the key distribution centre operations. The business has an extended network of third parties that include; head office, distribution centres, retail stores and both local & international supply chains.

Wevo engaged with key IT and Cable staff members, scoped the requirements, sourced the necessary hardware and deployed the solution in late 2019. Wevo implemented a Managed Internet service with built-in 4G/LTE, Firewall security and WiFi. This ensures high-availability and managed QoS. To make improvements to the existing Telephony network, a Cloud-Based Unified Communications system with built-in redundancy and high-availability was deployed.


We felt the overall project ran smoothly in conjunction with a very supportive IT team as per the brief provided by Cable management. The staff have since embraced the enhanced features of a Hosted IP Voice system which as advised, has resulted in improvements in the way staff communicate within their respective departments.
